Accounts Payable Coordinator
## Position Description
**At a Glance**
**Legrand **has an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the OCL team in St. Louis, Missouri. You will be responsible for all phases of Accounts Payable process, including timely payment to vendors and employees. Reconcile vendor statement and respond to vendor inquiries and resolves issues.
**What Will You Do?**
1. Process invoices in the ERP system by matching invoices to receiving reports and purchase orders and performing a three-way and/or two-way match.
2. Review vendor invoices to ensure the accuracy of invoice capture, coding, and approval process.
3. Reconcile vendor statement balances to the details of accounts payable.
4. Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices, including clarification of any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
5. Respond to all vendor inquiries.
6. Update and review commission report to ensure rates and calculations are correct before processing payments.
7. Process Travel and Entertainment expenses using an automated system.
8. Process weekly check runs, mail checks, and file paid invoices.
9. Assist with the preparation of wire transfers and ACH transactions.
10. Assist in month-end close activities, including accounts payable reconciliation, accruals, and/or journal entry preparation.
11. Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports.
12. Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
13. File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records and reports.
14. Perform other similar and related duties as required.
## Qualifications
**Required Skills**
Education:Associate's degree in accounting/finance preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3 years experience in an accounting function.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
* Basic knowledge of economics, finance, accounting, sales, and marketing.
* Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
* Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
* Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment.
