**Summary of Responsibilities:**Reporting to the Reception Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* Leads and helps manage the Reception/Transportation and Ski Valet team to ensure the smooth operation, the highest level of owner and resident satisfaction and that all polices and standards are adhered to
* Balances operational, administrative and colleague needs
* Actively seeks guest satisfaction feedback and ensures problems are resolved efficiently and effectively, and communicates with the Guest Service/Transportation Manager when issues are not easily resolved
* Responsible for recruitment, regular training, coaching, counseling and re-training to ensure consistency of service standards and service essentials to assist in the development and performance management of supervisors and line staff
* Participates in the Manager on Duty Program (promotes the company's health & safety policies, is knowledgeable about all safety & emergency procedures and emergency action plan, ensures all guest concerns are handled quickly with good resolution as well as all ensuring all standards are followed) documenting all incidents in the appropriate manner
* Schedules staff within budgeted guidelines and coverage based on business demands
* Keeps accurate records of daily events in the designated log books
* Coordinates with others to act on passions and customizing our owners and guests stay and communicates those at weekly Staff Meeting
* Visible throughout the Lodge, interacting with as many guests and colleagues as possible
* Creates a cooperative teamwork amongst staff by listening, providing feedback, monitoring and following up. Reward performance!
* Assists in the preparation of the transportation run sheets a week in advance, and creates corresponding schedules
* Monitors run sheets and makes adjustments as necessary
* Ensures all training checklists are completed and filed with HR
* Tracks vehicle mileage
* Assists with the fleet lease program
* Maintains regular communication with supervisors and line staff to ensure communication and follow through between shifts
* Performs all invoicing and related reporting in a timely manner
* Assists in managing the hotel's budget and ensuring that expenses incurred are within budget and in line with the FRHI established guidelines
* Assists in creating and maintaining manuals which make available updated material relevant to safety procedures, hours of operation, promotions, guest service requirements, and facilitates on-going communications and trainings related to this information
* Coordinates weekly staff meetings and on-going trainings
* Coordinates participation in monthly staff meetings with Front Office complete with minutes and in accordance to FKL standards
* Provides feedback and assists in documentation for 90 day and annual reviews process
* Assists in the payroll process by entering time edit forms
* Participates in leadership meetings and trainings
* Maintains a clean and organized work environment
* Ensures key inventory control and purchasing
* Adheres to all policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
* Performs line duties as required and other duties as assigned

## Employee Status
**Qualifications:**
* Passion for guest service is required
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
* Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
* Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
* Fluency in English
* Minimum of 1 year previous proven supervisory experience
* Must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks and Guest requests
* Knowledge of a Property Management System an asset
* Strong guest service orientation and training skills background required
* Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
* Experience with a Hotel loyalty program an asset
* Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
