**Assistant Manager, In Room Dining**
The Assistant In-Room Dining Manager will possess a passion to anticipate and meet and exceed our guest's needs and will also possess an insatiable desire to attain the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in all areas of the In Room Dining Operations. Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service in a luxury hotel environment, and where attention to detail is key.

**Summary of Responsibilities:**
Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager and Director of Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
* Oversees all In-Room Dining/Room Service operations in managers' absence.
* Ensure the delivery of excellent service by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit.
* Organization of department to ensure superior service standards are maintained at all times.
* Helps to ensure the effective utilization and productivity of all colleagues including staff planning, scheduling, hiring, training and development.
* Ensures a clean and SAFE working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
## Employee Status
**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience is an asset
* 2- 3 years experience in Food & Beverage management with a broad operational knowledge.
* Strong culinary and wine knowledge helpful.
* Computer proficiency helpful. (Word; Excel)
* Knowledge of MICROS helpful.
* Bachelors degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline a strong asset.
* Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement.
Innovative, creative and willing to take risks.
* Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Creative and effective team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, strong communication, interpersonal and administrative skills; ambition, drive and determination.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
* Constant standing and walking throughout shift
