Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is searching for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to work at our beautiful Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre property in London, Ontario. This position is responsible for overseeing the service in the Food & Beverage Outlets and Banquets. He/she is also responsible for assisting the manager with training, motivating, and coaching the staff, and monitoring expenses and controlling labor costs. This is a temporary position with an approximate duration of 18-20 months.

**General Requirements:**

+ Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.

+ Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

+ Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.

+ Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

+ Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

+ Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.

+ Perform other duties as requested by management.

+ Operational point person for Conference Manager

+ Ensure Corporate Brand Standards are met/maintained

+ Client contact during event execution

+ Lead role in day to day meetings and F & B set ups/provide direction to other associates

+ Provide exceptional guest service to all external and internal clients

+ Order and receive supplies, food, merchandise from all suppliers/contractors, ensuring all is accounted for

+ Storage of all receivables i.e. coffee break items, catering, supplies, etc.

+ Upkeep of kitchen, and storage spaces, including organizing and cleaning of such areas

+ Maintain clean and professional all spaces of facility

+ Inventory control of food, liquor, plates, cutlery, glasses and all other supplies

+ Organize associate breaks/lunches

+ Support audio visual associate and all other areas as required

+ Other tasks as assigned by management

Education & Experience:

+ High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a related field preferred.

+ At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.

+ Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Physical requirements:

+ Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

+ Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
