The primary role for the Inspector is to prepare incoming drilling tools for inspection. Assure all tools and equipment is ready to be inspected. Organizing the inspection area and working with other inspectors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Preparation of equipment to be inspected.

+ Keeping inspection areas clean and tidy at all times.

+ Ensure all supplies needed for the job are ready and available at all times.

+ Check all tools for accuracy by verifying S/N.

+ Maintain Inspection equipment; notify appropriate personnel when repairs are needed.

+ Promote good employee / personnel relations

+ Use of power tools required.

+ Standing for long periods.

+ Provide 24 hour/weekends on call service, as required

+ All other assigned duties

+ Ensure yourself and contractors are wearing required PPE while working at our facility.

+ Report any lost or missing tools from paperwork to the Sr.Inspector.

+ Responsible for the organization of the Inspection area's and the tools on the racks inside that area.

+ Responsible for the housekeeping in the Inspection part of the shop.


+ 0-6 Months MPI / LPI inspection experience an asset

+ On the job training, LPI /MPI training courses will be expected after 3 months

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service focus

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong analytical and organizational skills
