Job Description

Plan, organize, direct and control operations of the RaneyâNickel operation. Responsible for all aspects of the processes, with key focus on safe operations, environmental compliance, quality performance, customer requirements, reliability, productivity & cost control. Monitor and control process conditions to keep product in line with specifications. Troubleshoots to solve operating issues.Responsible for safe condition of equipment, safety training, maintaining safe work practices in accordance with established guidelines, performing JSA's & Pre-activities reviews and overall safety in the work area. Responsible for proper condition of equipment to meet environmental compliance, including inspections and the administration of Company environmental policies and procedures. Plan and coordinate production and shipping schedule, including raw material needs. Train and supervise operators on computer controls and maintains TDC equipment. Schedules personnel including authorization for overtime. Evaluates process, recommends equipment changes, performs minor process, productivity & project work. Tracks all expenses, usages, supplies & services & performs monthly inventory reviews & supports financial closing.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Eight to ten years experience in manufacturing/quality control environment and two years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred
