JOB DESCRIPTION**


The **Senior Consultant** performs and supervises consulting work related to Affinity insurance programs for various clients of the firm which could include large banks, credit card issuers, large retailers, large associations, auto and travel industry companies, and insurers among others. This can span across a wide array of insurance products, from Property & Casualty to Life & Health, often touching on travel insurance, credit card insurance, creditor insurance, home & auto and warranties. **The Role**


The Senior Consultant performs and supervises consulting work related to Affinity insurance programs for various clients of the firm which could include large banks, credit card issuers, large retailers, large associations, auto and travel industry companies, and insurers among others. This can span across a wide array of insurance products, from Property & Casualty to Life & Health, often touching on travel insurance, credit card insurance, creditor insurance, home & auto and warranties. Essential duties include but are not limited to:


+ Assisting with new product development and existing product optimization, with the support of Market Reports team and Global Affinity central team

+ Coordinating efforts (e.g. success case studies, marketing material, technology) with the Global Affinity team as appropriate

+ Conducting Request for Proposal processes on behalf of the program sponsors (our clients) and manage program implementations with the selected insurer(s)

+ Working with clients and insurers to review and optimize distribution channels and marketing plans

+ Managing the approval processes between program sponsors, product managers, legal resources (internal and external), and insurers

+ Working in conjunction with the actuarial/analytical resources of the company for the financial aspects of consulting assignments in order to bring the various pieces of each mandate together

+ Producing/reviewing reports for clients, including PowerPoint presentations

+ Reviewing contracts and service level agreements as well as ongoing amendments

+ Supervising local and/or international resources reviewing marketing material, certificates of insurance, cardholder documentation

+ Managing/monitoring ongoing insurance program performance, working with colleagues and clients to find solutions to optimize program performance

+ Managing a small team of employees.


**The Requirements**


+ University Bachelor Degree

+ At least 7-10 years of working experience in product/project/account management/or in direct marketing or working with Affinity program Sponsors (such as banks, lending companies, travel industry companies, large retailers, auto industry)

+ Be resourceful

+ Have good communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Bilingual (English and French) an asset, but English primary requirement

+ Be highly organized and very attentive to detail

+ Be able to train and supervise resources

+ Be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects

+ Be able to function within tight client timelines

+ Experienced with the utilization of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
