Virtual Channel Business Manager

Purpose:


o Support the Agent partner in achievement of profit and revenue objectives.


o Serve as the primary interface to existing and potential Agent Partners, engaging them in the Xerox value proposition to create win/win business partnerships


o Acts as the Business Consultant to the Agent Partner in deploying USCU key Business Strategies, consulting, and translating them into strategic and tactical objectives for the agency (i.e. building the business plan)


o Accountable for developing a coverage strategy within the geography and implements the appropriate coverage strategy for the territory


Scope:


o The scope of the VCBM roles includes responsibilities for revenue performance, agency relationships, managing value chain relationships, and fiduciary accountability for key Xerox business processes (accommodations, reversals, etc). The average revenue budget of an VCBM is approximately $8M within each region. The VCBM region spans multiple states (up to 4 states) consist of a span of 15-35 agencies. Each agency employs 3-30 Sales Representatives.

Primary Responsibilities:


o Partners with the Agent to translate key business strategies into measurable objectives and plans for the Agent owner to execute within their business (i.e. builds the business plan)


o Supports development of sales strategies to drive the achievement of Agency business and revenue objectives


o Manages operational performance and assesses Agent performance; identifies performance gaps and provides feedback and coaching to improve performance


o Works with Account Team to develop effective sales strategies for major accounts and conducts client visits (cross channel as appropriate)


o Manages the Agency Partner relationship to enable win-win partnerships - this includes: Effective two-way communications in adaptation of USCU strategies, Acts as a partner advocate and communicates "voice of the partner" to key Xerox personnel and Manages contract compliance (performance & ethical compliance)


o Accountable for developing a coverage strategy within the geography through; Identifying the appropriate segmentation of the territories within the geography, Engaging potential Agent Partners in the Xerox Value proposition to forge new business relationships and recruiting the right mix / profile of Agent Partners


o Engages, directs, and influences Xerox resources to sell and support Xerox solutions within the agency


o Manages collaboration and conflict by influencing key Xerox value chain partners across the XNA channel
