Job Description

A New Kind of U. As a competency-based, student-focused, online, nonprofit university, we do things a bit differently at WGU. From the bottom up, we're designed with students in mind--particularly, the busy, working, adult student who wants to earn a bachelor's or master's degree but for whom a traditional university education simply won't do. We have a fantastic work culture, career path, excellent benefits, 403B retirement account with a generous company match, vacation time and sick time plus many other great benefits! If you are passionate about helping others and looking to make an impact in people's lives, this position is for you!

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Evaluation Manager is a member of WGU's faculty who manages the delivery of Evaluations and teams of Evaluators. Evaluators are professionals who provide quality feedback on performance task submissions. They hold academic credentials and professional experience in their respective fields that are pertinent to the courses they evaluate, and they are critical to each student's journey toward graduation. Although their quality feedback is an essential part of the WGU student learning experience, these faculty members are much less visible to students and their interactions are restricted to the anonymous performance assessment environment. Our faculty model and the role of the Evaluator is outlined here: #
